Final Fantasy XV Skips E3

Final Fantasy XV Skips E3

In a surprising move, Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XV will not be making an appearance at E3 this year. The news comes from director Hajime Tabata, who says the team doesn’t have time for a major reveal to be ready for the E3 showcase.

“I think most people are expecting a big reveal around E3,” he said.

“E3 doesn’t give us sufficient time to fully prepare [to release pertinent information about the game]. So I have been discussing with our marketing teams, and we’ve actually been considering Gamescom in August, instead of E3, as the target for the next major reveal. ”

“So we’ll be taking a break from E3 this year,” he said.

So what the heck is Square-Enix going to show us this year? Deus Ex: Mankind Divided , Rise of the Tomb Raider , Just Cause 3 , and even a new Hitman title. So, just about everything except a classic JRPG.
