LinkedIn is a fantastic place to get video game leaks. When programmers and graphic designers look for new jobs, they usually post their old projects to the site, even if they haven’t been announced yet.
This is the case for Julien Risse, a senior gameplay programmer over at Ubisoft. Risse recently updated his résumé on LinkedIn and listed Watch Dogs 2 as a game that he worked on. Ubisoft had only hinted at a sequel prior to this leak, and has not yet made a statement on it. As of now, the reference to Watch Dogs 2 has been removed from Julien’s résumé.
But let’s face it. E3 is coming up. The Ubisoft lineup is still pretty sparse. Watch Dogs 2 is pretty much a shoe-in. If it does indeed surface, we will bring you more information on the game as it becomes available.
