Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 Better on Current Gen

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 Better on Current Gen

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 , the grand resurrection of the once dead skating franchise, is coming to both current gen and last gen platforms, but the two won’t be equal. According to Activision, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of THPS5 will not have seamless online multiplayer.

Seamless online multiplayer, as Activision advertises it, is the ability to drop in and out of online sessions with friends and other players. It is unclear whether or not this means the last gen versions will not have multiplayer at all, or simply won’t have the drop in drop out feature.

The current gen version of the game will cost full retail price at sixty dollars. The last gen version will only cost forty dollars. No reason has been given for the feature exclusion in the last gen version. We will bring you more information on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 when we get to try out a full demo at E3 this year.
