At time of writing, Koji Igarashi’s Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Kickstarter has earned over $2.5 million in backer donations. This is more than five times its original goal. It still has 22 days left to go, and plenty of stretch goals before it. However, as a celebration of hitting the 2.5 million mark, it is now offering a new bonus to backers who back it for sixty dollars or more. All 60+ backers who have decided to get the PC version of the game will be allowed into the Bloodstained beta. Note that this will only be runnable on Windows platforms.
This has caused many fans to change their backing to at least the 60+ tier. Of course, this too has caused the project to get yet another push in funding. We will likely see it break three million dollars by the time its Kickstarter ends.
