Arc System Works and French-Bread have recently announced a sequel to their cult fighting game hit, Under Night In-Birth EXE: Late which, I kid you not, is named Under Night In-Birth EXE: Late[st] . Get it? Latest?
Aside from an absolutely incomprehensible name, this new installment will be introducing a number of balance changes and a ton of new characters as well. The first character revealed is Phonon, a woman who utilizes a whip and sound to attack. Phonon, as well as all the console exclusive characters, will be playable in the new arcade version, which is set to release in Japan over the next few months. No confirmed console release has been announced yet, however, it’s fairly obvious that new characters will eventually make their way onto the PlayStation, both in Japan, and here in America.
