A new version of the Xbox One controller was spotted on the Xbox Support Website today. The controller is mostly the same as controllers we purchase today, except that it features a 2.5MM headphone port at its base. A line from the description reads that the port is “only available on controllers released after June 2015.” This leads us to believe the controller will be announced at E3 this year.
Unfortunately there is not much more info about the controller than that. Right now it is unclear whether or not the headphone jack is the only new controller feature. We will give you more info after we visit the Microsoft booth at E3 this year.
