The reboot/reimagining/remake of Phantom Dust has had a rough go of it for some time now, and it seems it may be finally down for the count. Xbox’s head of Marketing revealed that while the publisher wants to see the game completed, it currently does not have a developer attached to it.
The game has lost its original developer and has been in one state of limbo or another for several months now. That we’re hearing this news isn’t much of a surprise. Unfortuantely for fans of Phantom Dust , we all know this most likely means the new title in the series is gone for good. Smells like vaporware to me, but I hope I’m wrong.
