Last year’s critically acclaimed indie game Shovel Knight is becoming more real! Stepping outside of the digital only world, the game will now release in physical form for the Wii U, 3DS, PS4, and Xbox One. It will cost 20 dollars, 5 dollars more than the original digital version, and will release on October 13.
The physical version of the game will come with the new Plague of Shadows expansion, featuring Plague Knight, as well as all DLC content that will be produced for the game moving forward into the future. This includes Specter Knight’s campaign, King Knight’s campaign, and an all new battle mode. The physical release will also include a full manual. Yacht Club promises. “No two-page inserts here. You deserve a full manual, to hold in your hot little shaking hands and pore over as you wait to get home!”
