If it has something to do with hats or modding it probably has something to do with Team Fortress 2 . Intrepid PC fans have created a brand new mod for everyone’s favorite hate generator that allows you to play the game in a manner similar to Nintendo’s breakout shooter hit Splatoon . Entitled Splat Fortress, the mod allows you to shoot the ground in order to cover it in ink, travel through the ground as a squid, and of course kill opposing team members. Unfortunately, the ink doesn’t look very convincing as it always spreads in perfect squares, and there is only one weapon usable at the current time. However, the mod does enable voice chat, something Nintendo doesn’t do, and that is a huge plus.
More alterations to the mod will be coming in the future, hopefully making it more like the Wii U game. You can watch a video of the mod in action here.
