It’s that time again- Microsoft has announced its Games With Gold for July, and it seems that they really are trying to offer up more worthwhile games as incentives to players who are signed up for the program. In the past, some of their choices – especially for the Xbox One – have been questionable at best. But with Massive Chalice in June, and now this current selection for July, things may be improving.
Up to bat this time around, we’ve got Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and So Many Me for Xbox One, and Plants Vs. Zombie and Gears Of War 3 for the 360. While Sony is still ahead of the subscription-based-service curb, Microsoft certainly is trying to play catch-up. Add in the upcoming backwards-compatibility feature, and Xbox One users are essentially getting four games a month on the house. Fingers crossed that Microsoft can keep up the great work.
