Uncharted 4’s Single Player Stuck at 30fps

Uncharted 4’s Single Player Stuck at 30fps

If fps in games matters to people, then Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End could leave some disappointed. Naughty Dog has revealed the frame rate for the single player mode, and it isn’t as high as some would expect for a PS4 game. It will be 30fps in 1080p.

Apparently, this is a quality control issue, designed to ensure Uncharted 4 will always look its best when players are experiencing the adventures of Nathan and his brother. It also is only a single player limitation. The multiplayer mode will run at 60fps.

At least there’s something of a silver lining. Like inFamous: Second Son , Uncharted 4 will have have a Photo Mode. Details aren’t immediately available, but it may be similar to the one appearing in the previous PS4 game.
