Xbox Ultimate Game Sale is the new Summer of Arcade

Xbox Ultimate Game Sale is the new Summer of Arcade

If you have a Xbox 360 or Xbox One, this week could prove expensive. July 7, 2015 will mark the start of the first Xbox Ultimate Game Sale. An array of popular titles will receive digital discounts of up to 40-50% off. People with Xbox Live Gold will find an additional 10% discount waiting for them.

Unfortunately, the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale means there will be no Summer of Arcade. That’s the (formerly) annual event during which a number of Xbox exclusives would all be released at discounted launch prices. While it’s sad that we aren’t seeing new games heralded with surprise sales, any discount helps.

Microsoft has released an official Xbox Ultimate Game Sale trailer that teases some of the sales we’ll see this week.

In case you didn’t feel like watching it, games like Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, Dragon Age Inquisition, Ori and the Blind Forest, Halo: The Master Chief Collection , and Saints Row IV are among the deals.

The Xbox Ultimate Game Sale will end on July 13, 2015, so if you see something you like reduced, don’t delay. It won’t be on sale for long.
