Tekken , the fighting game franchise, revolves around a tournament called the King of the Iron Fist. Now, that tournament has been brought into the real world, to figure out who is the best Tekken player around.
The first official Bandai Namco sponsored Tekken tournament series, The King of the Iron Fist Tournament 2015 will be played on Tekken 7 , the as-of-yet unreleased version of Tekken here in North America. The grand prize will be 10 million yen (a little over $81,000 US). Players will be chosen from a variety of different qualifier events around Japan, meanwhile American and European players will be chosen based on performance in other Tekken tournaments, including this year’s EVO 2015.
