Major Bug Takes League of Legends Ranked Play Offline

Major Bug Takes League of Legends Ranked Play Offline

A bug in League of Legends has unbalanced the game so much that Riot Games had to take the incredibly popular game offline, at least for ranked play.

The bug has to do with the spell Recall. Recall basically allows players to teleport back to their base after a timer elapses. It’s basically meant to be a type of retreat, but is only usable every so often. This League of Legends glitch, however, allows players to circumvent that timer. This essentially allows players to teleport back to their base whenever they like. About to die? Teleport back to base. It basically undermines the whole player versus player experience.

The bug effects all League of Legends champions and is incredibly difficult to fix. “Unfortunately, this particular issue can’t be mitigated by disabling a specific champion or item, so we’ve temporarily disabled Ranked while we develop a solution,” Riot said.

We will keep you updated and let you know as soon as a League of Legends fix Is available.
