If you’ve been waiting on grabbing Sunset Overdrive in hopes of a port, go ahead and add it and a Xbox One to your wishlist. That dream has died. You’ll never see it on another system, says Insomniac Games.
Vitti, an Insomniac Games Webmaster and Administrator, visited the developer’s forum to answer a query from a fan about a PC port. Vitti said the studio would not talk about any contracts that lead to an exclusivity arrangement with Microsoft. It also was a dream-squashing moment, since it confirmed Sunset Overdrive will always only call the Xbox One home.
On the plus side, Sunset Overdrive has gotten a price drop. If you’ve been waiting, you can usually find it for $39.99 now. Perhaps that will make the news easier to bear?
