World of Tanks has come to the Xbox One, and it’s looking pretty comfortable for people who are already familiar with the free-to-play title. To make the transition more appealing, Wargaming.net has done everything possible to make people who started on the Xbox 360 switch over to the prettier version of the game, and I’m not just talking about adding the PvE Proving Grounds to lure one over.
Everyone who started World of Tanks on the Xbox 360 will find everything waiting for them on their Xbox One. All you need to do is download and log into the game on your current gen console. Your achievements, research, and technology tree will let you pick up exactly where you left off.
And you’ll get to continue on with all of the same friends as before too. World of Tanks supports cross-play between the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the game. No man (or woman) will be left behind. Go ahead and keep having fun with the people you know, but don’t forget to find some new opponents too!
