Last week, Riot Games gave League of Legends Gangplank players something to worry about. It appeared as though Miss Fortune had killed the charcter in-game, and he was temporarily unable to be used. Don’t fret, because Gangplank is back.
An epilogue has been released that reveals League of Legends’ Gangplank didn’t succumb to that (wait for it) misfortune. He was just really badly hurt and needed a weekend to recover. The character lost his left arm, and his in-game appearance has been changed to reflect that.
For people who like classic Gangplank, there’s still a way to see him. Gamers who playe a match as Gangplank during League of Legends ‘ Bilgewater: Burning Tide event get a free Captain Gangplank skin. The event ends August 10, so there’s still time to earn it.
