Driveclub director Paul Rustchynsky took to Twitter to show off the other day, but don’t get mad about his brag. He was justified. Turns out that game he was working on ended up selling over 2 million copies.
Did you know Driveclub was that popular? Me either! Well, I did after the PlayStation Plus free version was released, but Rustchynsky’s continuing updates say that the game hit that 2 million mark from actual sales. The downloads of the PlayStation Plus edition don’t count.
Rustchynsky also noted that Driveclub hit that milestone after eight months. Since the game performed that well, perhaps Sony will start thinking about a sequel.
