Earlier this year, Valve introduced the Year Beast Brawl mode to DOTA 2 . Now, at the Invitational 2015, the company has revealed another mode. 20-Player Mode is coming to DOTA 2 , because bigger is always better, right?
The 20-player DOTA 2 mode is about what you’d expect. 20 players go in, with 10 on either side. They fight it out until one emerges victorious. At The Invitational, it was 10 professionals against 10 audience members in a display to show how the affair worked.
However, the number can actually exceed 20. If DOTA 2 players begin a custom game, up to 24 people can participate.
