Isn’t it fun when new games reference the titles we grew up with? Heroes of the Storm is doing that right now. If someone chooses to play as the Monk named Kharazim, they’ll be able to play a tweaked version of Duck Hunt while they wait for a match to begin.
Blizzard added this little nod to Nintendo with the August 18 patch. Just like in the real game, you only get so many bullets and click on birds as they fly out of the forest. Shooting one results in a light-gun effect, then a goblin popping up, giggling, with the bird.
If you want to play some Duck Hunt in Heroes of the Storm , you should do it now. Who knows if it will still be part of Kharazim’s loading screen after the next patch?
