User Makes Grand Theft Auto V Even Prettier On PC

When we reviewed Grand Theft Auto V for the PC, we mentioned that there wasn’t a whole lot to it. Other than the Rockstar Editor and the graphics overhaul, you were basically getting the same game, and the graphics overhaul wasn’t all that impressive. However, we also mentioned that the game was not let loose to the wild world of modders, and that they would probably find some way to make the PC version increase in value in the future. Now that has started to happen, with a brand new graphics mod.

Modder Toddyftw posted a series of images on Reddit showing off what a few simple programs could do to increase the graphical fidelity of GTA V . Self-described as, “just Reshade Shaders, ENB series, simple tweaks and some tonemapping with class!” and named Toddyhancer, The goal is to make Grand Theft Auto V look photorealistic. It doesn’t quite get there, but it does severely enhance the graphics of the game, far more so than the official GTA V PC port did.

The mod has not yet been released, but keep your eye on the official Reddit post in order to catch it when it goes public.
