OK, it’s happening for real this time. Prepare to strategically strike or button mash, whichever you prefer, because Street Fighter V is coming. All of Capcom’s stress tests have paid off, as the worldwide PS4 beta for the game is going to begin on August 28.
The Street Fighter V beta will begin worldwide at 4pm PT on August 28. That’s 12am BT and 8am JT on August 29, for people in other regions. It will end September 2 at 7am PT, 3pm BT, and 11pm JT. Capcom is again warning that connectivity errors may strike due to demand. We don’t know how it could go yet, but it could be a repeat of the first beta test. Still, the company is going to give it a try and, if all goes well, it should remain online outside of periodic maintenance.
So plug in ethernet cables to your PS4s tomorrow and hope for the best!
