20th Anniversary Edition DualShock 4 Delayed

20th Anniversary Edition DualShock 4 Delayed

Were you hoping to have a 20th anniversary DualShock 4 controller for your PS4 on Monday morning? Well, that might not be happening. It looks like the retro-inspired peripheral is going to miss its September 9 launch date. Amazon now says it will be out on September 18.

Sony hasn’t said anything about the $64.99 controller, but given the timing, it may be wise to trust Amazon. Especially since the delay isn’t anything major. This would put the US release more in line with the September 16 European release, so it is plausible.

The 20th Anniversary DualShock 4 is a PS4 controller designed to strongly resemble the original PlayStation’s DualShock. It’s similar to the one released with the limited edition 20th Anniversary PS4 released in December 2014.
