Grand Theft Auto Online getting Freemode Events

Grand Theft Auto Online getting Freemode Events

Grand Theft Auto Online keeps getting bigger and better for people who purchased Grand Theft Auto V. In addition to the events that pop up at regular intervals for players to enjoy, Rockstar Games has announced a September 15 update that will add plenty of optional challenges for people to jump into any time alone or with friends while playing in Freemode.

As an example, someone in Freemode could be enjoying sandbox gameplay, then decide to engage in an Event for GTA$ and RP. You don’t have to, but can if you’d like. You can even determine if certain sorts of Events will appear during your session. Two mentioned in the announcement were King of the Castle, where you stake a claim and defend against people trying to take it. Hunt the Beast is another, where one person is made stronger than usual and the others have to catch him or her.

Two additional Adversary Modes will be added to Grand Theft Auto Online next week as well. Someone can recreate the movie Speed with Hunting Pack, where one team tries to deliver a vehicle that will explode if it goes too slow while others try to destroy it. Cross the Line is another, where people try to take opposing players’ territories.

Here’s a Grand Theft Auto Online trailer showing all of the new content.

Unfortunately, this Grand Theft Auto Online update will only be coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game. It’s too much for the PS3 and Xbox 360 installments to handle.
