The Last Guardian could Make a Tokyo Game Show Appearance

The Last Guardian may not be appearing at Sony’s 2015 Tokyo Game Show booth, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be at the event later this week. Fumito Ueda’s genDesign, a developer aiding Japan Studio with the game’s development, says that game may be there after all. A tweet went out saying, “We are thinking about how to take Trico to the Makuhari ( in a new and different way).”

The Trico in that missive is referring to the griffon character in The Last Guardian . The Makuhari Messe, where the Tokyo Game Show is held every year. The image above was tweeted with it. Maybe there will be some sort of huge display or stage presentation?

The last time we say The Last Guardian was at this past E3. A new gameplay trailer was shown, where the boy had to help Trico safely get through some ruins and past some intimidating obstacles. It’s also where we learned the game has been moved to the PS4.

Let’s hope for good news come September 17!
