Team Builder Coming to League of Legends

Team Builder Coming to League of Legends

League of Legends is hoping to implement a better matchmaker for players, and it’s sounding like the forthcoming Team Builder could be it. Lead Riot Games designer Jeffrey Lin talked about what the developer hopes to accomplish over ask.fm and how it differs from the current method of hopping into a chat and calling dibs on what role you want to play.

The new League of Legends Team Builder would allow people to bring a group into a lobby and state at least two positions they would wish to play, with a fill option being added. Duo Queues will also be asked to cover three unique positions. Once everyone makes their choices, the game automatically sorts them into full teams and goes to Champion Select, where people can communicate with members of the team to try and make sure everyone’s happy. After everyone’s set, a game begins.

Riot Games hasn’t said when the new League of Legends Team Builder will be added into the game. Cross your fingers and keep an eye out for it, in case it’s soon!
