Minecraft fans (there are a few out there) will be jazzed to hear that the official premier event for Telltale’s episodic Minecraft: Story Mode is taking place October 12 at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, California. The event will center around an enormous ‘Let’s Play’ where audience members will be encouraged to cheer and participate as the action unfolds on the big screen. If you’d like to attend, the tickets are free, but seating is obviously limited. To secure a ticket, fans have been asked to send an email to [email protected] requesting more information.
Attendees will get to see and ‘play’ the first episode before it’s available for download on the 13th. Alternatively you may opt to wait for the season pass disc that is being released on October 27. This will come with the first episode and unlock episodes 2-5 as they’re released. In the meantime, enjoy a newly released trailer:
