Today is a bad day for Famitsu, but a good day for people interested in Street Fighter V . While running screenshots and information about Zangief, who was just revealed as a playable character in the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC game, the Japanese site also accidentally shared images of Laura, a new character making her debut in this installment. Even though Famitsu pulled the screenshots, one of which you can see above, people quickly snatched all of them.
It seems like Laura is a very agile character who utilizes forms of Brazilian martial arts, though it’s impossible to confirm that until Capcom says anything. She also seems to be strongly tied to lightning and have some measure of control over the element. She wears some sort of green karategi, a karate gi, and will probably win over some fanservice fans.
Street Fighter V will be released in 2016.
