Buy Emotes in Destiny with “Silver”

Buy Emotes in Destiny with “Silver”

Bungie is bringing Tess Everis back to Destiny , and this time she’s after real money. Microtransactions are coming to the online shooter, and she’ll be there with the Eververse Trading Company starting October 13. Why? Well, because microtransactions mean more money for the developer and Tess’ reappearance means a chance for your characters to express themselves in the game.

Yes, you read that right. Eververse Trading Company is there to sell emotes. For an as-yet unspecified amount of Silver, purchased with real cash, people can buy emotes that allow their characters to perform various supplemental actions and communicate with others. She’ll have 18 at launch, though Bungie hasn’t said if any will be the three emotes that came with the Destiny: The Taken King Collector’s Edition.

Destiny ‘s Eververse Trading Company emotes will be entirely optional. They’re a cosmetic feature being added to the game. Bungie has said it will be adding free Silver to everyone’s account next week when Tess returns, providing enough for people to buy “an emote or two” to see what they’re like. Since they are superfluous, you may as well accept the free in-game cash, grab one, and then proceed to never, ever use it.
