Custom amiibos are always amazing, but there’s a super special one will both impress you and warm your heart. An artist by the name of GandaKris has created a commemorative Satoru Iwata amiibo. Using one of the forthcoming Mii amiibo from Super Smash Bros , GandaKris made an Iwata that is holding the Master Sword while standing on a base that includes a 1Up Mushroom, pokeball, Diddy Kong’s Nintendo hat, Kirby’s star wand, and Link’s shield. It’s super cool and relevant, right?
The best part about the Satoru Iwata amiibo is that it’s up on eBay and being auctioned off for charity. 100% of the proceeds earned will go to Child’s Play to help supply hospitals with video games for kids to play and get gifts for sick children off of their wishlists.
The Satoru Iwata amiibo auction for Child’s Play will end at 9:21pm on October 8. The current high bid is $1,850.
