Activision Pulls Black Ops 3 Pre-orders for Xbox

Activision Pulls Black Ops 3 Pre-orders for Xbox

If you were planning to hop on the Xbox store or Amazon to pre-order and pre-load your copy of Call of Duty Black Ops 3 you might be too late. It seems that Activision has pulled the pre-order for the standard copy as well as the digital deluxe copy of Black Ops 3 from the Xbox store, which now reads, “Available at your local retailer for preorder.”

As if that weren’t strange enough, you’re no longer able to purchase the digital code for the game from Amazon, even though the digital codes for the PC and Xbox One versions are still available. Season passes are available for these platforms as well, but are nowhere to be found for the Xbox One. Microsoft claims that it’s working with Activision to get the preorder back online, but Activision has stated that it wasn’t responsible for its removal, which has some suspicious fans wary of a conspiracy of partnership between Activision and Sony.

If you had already preordered your Xbox One copy digitally don’t worry, you’re in the clear.
