Starting today, Xbox 360 owners in all regions can enjoy all of their favorite games online, duking it out in some competitive online arenas or cooperating with a buddy to get through a tough quest. If you just can’t work a Gold membership into your budget, this could be a great opportunity for you to catch up on the multiplayer action that you’ve been missing. Or, if you’ve never taken your games online before (there might be a few of you left) there’s no better time to see what all the fuss is about.
The free multiplayer weekend is limited to Xbox 360 gamers, so if you have an Xbox One you’ll just have to renew your Gold membership. The event lasts through Sunday, so get out there and show ‘em what you’ve got.
