Skull Kid Gets his Own Story in Hyrule Warriors Legends

Skull Kid Gets his Own Story in Hyrule Warriors Legends

If you’re familiar with The Legend of Zelda , you probably know who the Skull Kid is. He’s a mischievious and sometimes malicious figure wearing the crazy, creepy Majora’s Mask. You’re used to him being a foe, but in Hyrule Warriors Legends , he’ll be fighting on your side. Koei Tecmo even opened up to talk about how he’ll work as a character.

The Skull Kid will wear his mask and work alongside Tatl and Tael in Hyrule Warriors Legends . He uses an Ocarina as a weapon, so we’ll have to see how that works out for him. I mean, there have been characters in these games that use harps, so he should be okay. He’ll also have his own story, which will be presented via still pictures.

Koei Tecmo also talked about a few more gameplay elements that will be new to the 3DS port. Phantom Ganon, from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker , will be a new boss. There’s also going to be a map inspired by The Wind Waker , with Makar and the Earth and Wind Temples in it. Maybe that’s where Phantom Ganon will reside? There will also be a new Smash Burst Power that will trigger when four allies surround one foe.

You’ll be able to get the “best” version of Hyrule Warriors next year, when Hyrule Warriors Legend comes to the 3DS. Wii U owners will have to wait to see Skull Kid until then!
