For all of you castle crashing hack’n’slashers out there, an exciting new update will be available tomorrow for Castle Crashers through Steam. The ‘Barbarian Makeover’ update will contain a variety of improvements and content and is, of course, free.
The biggest change is the new mini game ‘Back Off Barbarian,’ where you and your friends will be hopping across squares on a gameboard-style map as you attempt to flee an increasing number of enemies. This will replace the forgettable ‘All You Can Quaff.’
In addition to an upgraded UI, there is a new ultra mode that features updated textures and an uncapped framerate, so now you can smash barbarians and ride your noble, pooping deer steeds more beautifully than ever before.
