Become One of the Battleborn Beta Testers

The time has come. Gearbox Software and 2K Games’ Battleborn has quite a bit of buzz behind it. Given its nature as a first person shooter that heavily relies on online multiplayer, the developer and publisher want to make sure it’s ready. They’ve announced a closed Battleborn beta for October 29. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC players are all invited.

Not that all of them will get in. Anyone can enter to be considered, but not everyone will be chosen to participate in this Battleborn beta. People can RSVP at the official website in hopes of being considered. The console and computer file size will be between 4-8GB. People who participate can’t livestream, capture video, take screenshots, or generally say anything about the game in its current state.

If you’re a PC player, pay attention to the following requirements. These were provided by Gearbox and say exactly what is needed to run the Battleborn beta. If you can’t, it’s probably best not to register so someone who can has a better chance of playing.

  • OS: Windows 7 x64-Bit or Later
  • Processor: Intel Core2 Extreme CPU Q6850/ AMD A8-3870k (Quad Core CPU’s)
  • Memory: 6 GB
  • Hard Disk Space: 10 GB free
  • Video Memory: 2 GB
  • Video Card: AMD HD 7700/ NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or better, PhysX support
  • Sound: DirectX 11 Compliant

Battleborn will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on February 9, 2016. If you get to participate in this closed beta, you just might get a valuable edge.
