Amazon Prime Now Offering Midnight Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Deliveries

Amazon Prime Now Offering Midnight Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Deliveries

Do you want to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 at midnight on November 6, the moment the game comes to your PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Windows PC? It’s an attractive prospect, but could also mean waiting at some store’s launch event or for the game to download to your system. That is, unless you’re an Amazon Prime member. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be the first video game you can get with midnight delivery through Amazon Prime Now.

Here’s how it works. Atlanta, GA, Austin, TX, Baltimore, MD, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Houston, TX, Indianapolis, IN, Las Vegas, NV, Los Angeles, CA, Manhattan, NY, Miami, FL, Minneapolis, MN, Orange County, CA, Phoenix, AZ, Portland, OR, Sacramento, CA, San Antonio, TX, San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, and Seattle, WA all have the Amazon Prime Now app available. On November 4, people can pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 through the app and choose a two hour, special delivery window that will have it arrive at or around midnight on November 6. There will also be no delivery fees for this order.

It’ll be interesting to see how this delivery event works and will prove to be a good test for Amazon’s system. If Amazon Prime Now can handle a Call of Duty midnight launch event, it can probably handle anything.
