Have you been wondering what’s up with that prophesized Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number level editor? Dennaton Games said it would prepare one for the game, but we haven’t heard anything about it since July. The good news is, the wait is almost over. The open beta for the Hotline Miami 2 level editor will begin on December 10.
Anyone with a copy of Hotline Miami 2 will be able to use the level editor. However, there are a few things to be aware of. It won’t have Steam Workshop support at launch, so custom sprites won’t be available. Also, there’s no custom music. But people will be able to test it out, help fix any issues. and prepare the final product.
There’s only one more, possibly unfortunate issue. Dennaton doesn’t know if the levels from the Hotline Miami 2 level editor’s beta will carry over to the full version when it’s released in January. Don’t get too attached, just in case!
