No Timed Exclusivity on Fallout 4 DLC

No Timed Exclusivity on Fallout 4 DLC

Timed exclusivity can be obnoxious for gamers, and often makes some feel, well, excluded. With the first patch for Fallout 4 set to arrive next week, Pete Hines took to Twitter to address rumors that upcoming DLC for the title would be available for Xbox One first.
At first he said that there were no plans for exclusive DLC. When one user probed for clarification, wondering if he was simply dodging the matter of timed exclusivity, he elaborated, stating that he considers timed exclusivity to fall under the category of exclusivity. Makes sense, too.

He also responded to questions about console commands coming to the PS4. The answer is a clear no. Bethesda isn’t a fan of console commands, even on PC, reasoning that they can screw up game saves. Details on the specifics of upcoming DLC and additions to Fallout 4 are, as of now, unclear. It’s nice to know, though, that we’ll all be getting access to them at the same time.
