More BioShock Games are an Inevitability

It’s hard not to like BioShock. It’s a series that often rallies for the “games are art” cause and the first title showed many what the medium of video games is singularly capable of. It makes sense that fans would want more, and it seems that they may just receive exactly that.

In an investor meeting, Take-Two Interactive CEO, Strauss Zelnick, was quoted as saying the series was “unquestionably a permanent franchise.” While the original members of Irrational, the studio behind the first games, have scattered, Zelnick also alluded to what Ken Levine’s remaining team is up to, calling their upcoming project “something highly creative and innovative.”

The last game in the franchise, BioShock Infinite , was released in 2013, and news of upcoming games has been mostly unavailable until this point. Some thought the series had run its course, but the game’s narrative sets up the possibility for many stories set in the same universe. What do you think, readers? You hungry for more BioShock?
