Fallout 4’s PC Beta Patch is Live

Fallout 4’s PC Beta Patch is Live

If you need some Fallout 4 fixes and you need them now, then good news is here. Bethesda has released the Steam Beta Update 1.2.33 for Fallout 4. If you opt into the patch by right-clicking on the game in your library, going to settings, and opting into the beta, you’ll be among the first to see if the new fixes make a huge difference.

Here’s a list of exactly what’s fixed with this patch. Or should be, anyway, if all goes well.

New Features

  • Number pad keys can now be used for remapping
  • Remapping Activate now works on Quick Container

Fixes

  • General memory and stability improvements
  • Fixed issue where equipped weapons become locked after completing Reunions
  • Fixed issue with When Freedom Calls where the quest would not complete
  • During Confidence Man, fixed issue where player’s health would continuously regenerate
  • Fixed crash related to jumping into water and reloading saved games
  • Fixed issue where Launcher would not save God Rays Quality setting properly

Bethesda recommends backing up your save games before applying the Fallout 4 beta patch, just in case, so make sure you do that before you update the game.
