Treyarch Permabans Offensive Emblem / Paint Job Designers

Treyarch Permabans Offensive Emblem / Paint Job Designers

If you’ve spent any considerable time playing Black Ops 3 multiplayer, you’ve likely seen some pretty creative custom emblems. That’s part of what makes Black Ops so fun! Usually the emblem customization suite is one of the first places I go after I pop the disc in for the first time. Right now I’m rocking a pretty sweet square and compasses to rep my Masonic lodge back home. Some emblems are not so wholesome; I’ve seen all kinds of genitalia (how do they get so detailed?!), middle fingers, curse words, and the like. Clan tags and paint jobs can also be a problem; all kinds of not-so-original four letter combinations find their way there, and usually compliment a corresponding emblem. I’ve even seen [ISIS], with a rather detailed flag for an emblem.

Treyarch has decided that enough is enough. Apparently this is a bigger issue than I thought and a lot of people are starting to report ISIS flags, Nazi flags and swastikas, and, of course, penises. If you are for whatever reason repping any of these emblems or paint jobs you may want to rethink your edgy self-expression before you get permabanned from using any of these tools ever again. That’s right, Treyarch is permanently banning anyone who designs offensive emblems or paint jobs for their weapons from using these tools ever again in multiplayer. This is going to ruin Thanksgiving weekend for a lot of teenage edgelords.
