Shakedown Hawaii Follows Retro City Rampage

Shakedown Hawaii Follows Retro City Rampage

Retro City Rampage was too legit to quit. The game is going to be getting a sequel. Fittingly enough, the second game kicks things up a notch. While VBlank Entertainment made the first game look like a NES equivalent of a Grand Theft Auto adventure, Hawaii Shakedown is a 16-bit SNES-style game.

The Player retired early in Retro City Rampage after becoming a criminal mastermind and running the city. But now he’s found that things aren’t going so great. This means he has to show those young people how it’s done. 30 years later, he’s returning to active service to take over the streets again.

Here’s the first Shakedown Hawaii trailer.

Right now, Shakedown Hawaii is only confirmed for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, and Windows PC. More information will come from VBlank Entertainment when it appears at the 2015 PlayStation Experience.
