Did you pre-order Star Wars Battlefront ? Well then, you have something special waiting for you today. The Battle of Jakku DLC launches today for everyone who commited to a copy of the game early. While everyone else has to wait until December 8 for this match, people who bought it early get it now.
Here’s an early trailer, showing off Star Wars Battlefront ‘s Battle of Jakku and its Turning Point mode.
The Battle of Jakku’s Turning Point has the Rebels attempting to capture one of the Empire’s three control points before time runs out. The goal is to keep taking checkpoints, thus extending time, and attempting to turn the tide and take control in a 40 player battle. Meanwhile, the Empire is protecting their base and trying to wipe out Rebels. Airspeeders and AT-STs will be available for the fight.
A price hasn’t been announced for The Battle of Jakku yet, but people who get to enjoy it now won’t have to worry about that.
