Xbox Live Gold doesn’t just offer free Games with Gold offerings each month. It also has Free Play Weekend events, where people can play a select game for a weekend to see if it’s something they might enjoy. This week’s title is The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited , and there’s an important reason why you should give it a try. You could win money if you do.
Bethesda is holding a #MillionReasonstoPlay contest. People who play The Elder Scrolls Online between December 3 and January 10 have the chance to win a grand price of $1 million or a second place prize of 3,000,000 in-game Crowns. All you have to do is play the game, then register for the giveaway via the official website using your The Elder Scrolls Online email address.
The Elder Scrolls Online will be part of Microsoft’s Free Play weekend from December 10-13. You have to be a Xbox Live Gold member to participate and have an Xbox One. If you do, you qualify for the contest and get the chance to see if this MMO is for you. Worst case scenario, you waste a half hour or so playing a new game for free. If you enjoy it, you’ll even be able to purchase the game at a yet-unknown discount.
