Killer Instinct’s Beginner-Friendly Patch 2.13 Arrives

Killer Instinct’s Beginner-Friendly Patch 2.13 Arrives

Killer Instinct is a rather serious fighter. Rare works hard to keep the Xbox One game up to date for everyone who enjoys it. The latest update, patch 2.13, goes even further by making the game more welcoming to beginners.

Two features have been added with Killer Instinct patch 2.13 that are rather important. The first is a Combo Assist. This optional feature makes the combo system easier to understand for beginners, since it’s so critical to gameplay. There are no motion cancels, so someone can get through Assist Combos with no cancel motions. Yes, that sounds complicated, but it’ll make sense once you play. Also, you can add your favorite Key Moves to the pause command list.

The rest of the 2.13 patch notes for Killer Instinct does what you’d expect. There are bug fixes and character adjustments for Aganos, Kan-Ra, Maya, Omen, Shadow Jago, TJ Combo, and Thunder. It’s immediately available.
