Killer Instinct will Kick in on PC in March

While Killer Instinct started out as an Xbox One launch game in 2013, Rare has always had high aspirations for the game. It’s received regular, seasonal updates, and its next season will come alongside a PC launch. Come March 2016, Windows 10 PCs will all be able to play this freemium fighter.

The PC version of Killer Instinct will keep up with the Xbox One release. There will be a few differences. Characters will be tweaked and the game balanced. Tusk and Kim Wu will be available, with classic costumes. It will have all season 2 characters, as well as a few more, and eventually be on par with the Xbox One’s season 3 release.

Additional information on the Windows 10 PC port of Killer Instinct will come during PAX South on January 29-31. We already know it is a cross-buy game, so Xbox One owners will have all content waiting for them on their PCs. Perhaps we’ll hear about more available characters and Shadow Jago-style fund raisers?
