A while back, Ninja Theory started developing a game that would be a journey into the psyche of a character with a mental illness. Hellblade would follow a woman named Senua who is both psychotic and dealing with post traumatic stress disorder. If that sounds appealing, get ready to play it this year.
Ninja Theory announced on Twitter that Hellblade will be out sometime in 2016. It'll even be released on the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC at the same time.
Given that Hellblade is inspired by Celtic mythology and stars a strong heroine, I'm hoping it'll be a lot like Heavenly Sword. Especially since Hugues Giboire, who was Heavenly Sword's Art Director, is back for this game.
