This year is going to be a big year for Ratchet & Clank. Not only is the game getting a new movie, which was a surprising announcement, but the first game is getting totally remade. This remake now has a release date and cover art.
The official PlayStation Blog announced, today, that the game will be out on April 15 in France and April 20 everywhere else. This release coincides with the theatrical release of the movie.
Ratchet & Clank will be a re-telling of the duo’s origin story from the first game, but it will be told from the perspective of Captain Qwark. It will also have the controls and mechanics seen in more modern Ratchet and Clank titles, as well as guns, weapons and other surprises that weren’t in the original game.
