Atlus Confirms a Summer Release for Persona 5

Atlus Confirms a Summer Release for Persona 5

All right, before we get to Persona 5, let’s zoom out a bit and glance the big picture. 2016 is going to be a big year for Atlus. Besides Persona 5 we also have Odin Sphere, a new Etrian Odyssey, and Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final to look forward to. Atlus CEO Naoto Hiraoka thinks this is going to be a huge year for Atlus, saying:

“In 2015, we were able to develop existing IP like Persona 4: Dancing All Night and Etrian Mystery Dungeon. In 2016, starting with Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir, we plan to release a large number of titles. In the summer, we’ll launch the long-awaited Persona 5. Of course, in addition to that we have several unannounced titles. I have no doubt this will be a year Atlus’ popular series all gather together.”

Of course the only thing we need to take away from that statement is this summer Atlus is launching “…the long-awaited Persona 5.” The unannounced title is hinted to be Etrian Odyssey V, but I’m sure we have some unexpected surprises on the way as well, so stay tuned to CheatCC for all the breaking details.
