No The Walking Dead Shooter until 2017

No The Walking Dead Shooter until 2017

It’s never a good sign when a game is supposed to be out this year, but you aren’t seeing or hearing anything about it. Overkill Software, the developer behind the Payday series, is working on a The Walking Dead shooter. We’ve known about it since 2014. It was supposed to be out this year, but that’s not happening.

Starbreeze Studios and Overkill Software have announced the delay. The Walking Dead will now be out in 2017. The reasons are quite practical. Part of the delay is to add additional content to the game. However, the delay also means it will be launched simultaneously in both Asia and western territories.

Overkill Software’s The Walking Dead is a cooperative shooter. It will be a survival horror game with RPG elements added to it. Once it does eventually come out, it will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
